This Old Ellicott City engagement portrait session was the best of both worlds, as usual :)

You get forest, river, and quaint urban backdrops for all of your lovey documented moments when you do a portrait session here! Ellicott City Main street is so special to many locals since it’s a step back in time from the suburban sprawl that surrounds it (even though we all love a good target run too lol). Even with the two historic 100-year floods that happened in 2016 and 2018, there are still so many great little shops and restaurants available for shopping, browing, or just walking around. For my Maryland portrait photography, I usually take my clients around the cobblestone streets and old architecture of Historic Ellicott City as well as into the Trolley Trail, which has an entrance up the steps just behind The Trolley Stop bar and Old Mill Cafe. That’s excatly what we did for this cute session just before their wedding. Enjoy!
