Elegant Howard County Maryland Courthouse Wedding

I joined M & M this summer at their timeless Howard County Courthouse wedding! They are both so kind and genuine, and I loved getting to document all the candid and sweet moments <3

Meredith wore an elegant silky white dress that had an asymmetrical, low, strappy back, which I thought was such a perfect combination of classic and unique. She carried a pastel bouquet of summer flowers, plus some eucalyptus for a lovely scent. Michael wore a classic navy suit along with tiny blue flowers dotting his tie.

Many of my courthouse weddings are on Fridays, but I’m starting to have more on other days - this one was on a Wednesday! And since I live in Columbia, Maryland, it felt lovely to pop over to the courthouse, just 10 minutes away. I got there plenty early to check out the day’s lighting situation and then wait in the lobby for them to arrive - I usually end up meeting their waiting family first and making friends. My own kids’ adoption also took place at this courthouse, which makes it even more special when I get to celebrate yet another happy day in someone’s life, like this wedding :)
